Despite his mysterious persona, he possesses extensive knowledge on supernatural matters, including identifying Ishigamis Lilith Mirror as the source of the chaos during the school festival. Although it's unclear if he's human or a yokai, his familiarity with Tsukunes ghoulish nature suggests that he may have some understanding of Tsukunes true identity as a human being. However, this knowledge is conveyed subtly throughout the series.
