In the first timeline, the leader of the cardliens was imprisoned on earth during a war initiated by celestial gods. he imbued mashuranbo with his power, which helped turn the tide against humans in their quest to eradicate them. in the second timeline, he is on the verge of breaking free. in the dubbed version, he is known as lanancuras and was once a guardian tasked with overseeing the milky way. envious of the power and prestige held by lesser beings in their respective worlds, he invaded those worlds and caused the dna virus to spread on earth. he shares a physical connection to the galaxy, causing disasters when injured. his followers are called kadrians and hail from the conquered worlds. the guardians sacrificed themselves to seal him in parts of the destroyed worlds.
