Natsu is a shinobi hailing from Iwagakure who served in the Second Division during the Fourth Shinobi World War under Kitsuchi's command. During this time, he assisted Naruto Uzumaki, Killer B, Kakashi Hatake and Might Guy against White Zetsu Army members alongside Neji Hyūga and Shun. Natsu and Shun managed to defeat two of their opponents with some support from Neji before getting into an argument. However, Neji intervened and reminded them that the next battle was on the front lines, which ended their disagreement.
