Kumatetsu

The young man Kumatetsu may one day become ruler of the Animal Realm. As part of this process, he must select an individual to serve as his mentor. Ultimately, he chooses a youthful human male named Ren, whom he later dubs Kyuuta.
Spoilers:
Near the end of the movie, Kumatetsu battles Iozen to see who will become the new lord. Kumatetsu wins but is badly injured right after his victory.Later on, Kyuuta ends up getting in big danger. Since Kumatetsu couldnt help due to him being injured, he decides to reincarnate as a sword and he becomes a part of Kyuutas soul.
