Zenon descends to Earth alongside Prince Homura due to his dislike for evil monsters and spirits. His Demon Blaster weapon destroys numerous enemies. It is later revealed that his eyepatch serves as a demon limiter, causing him to go berserk when removed. Despite this, Zenon agrees to follow Homura for several reasons: he is tired of living in the heavens and wants to find the demon who killed his son's mother. In ancient times, Zenon had connections with a woman who gave birth to his son. The gods discovered this relationship and demanded that Zenon relinquish his immortality to live as a human. However, one of his subordinates, who was also a demon, betrayed him by killing the woman's mother instead of bringing her to the heavens as instructed. Zenon wields an assault rifle-like banishing gun similar to Sanzo's weapon. He ultimately dies in battle against Goyjo and Hakkai at the end of Saiyuki Gensomaden.
