In the anime-exclusive Zanpakutō Rebellion and Tōjū Campaign, Tenken is the manifested spirit of Sajin Komamuras Zanpakutō. Despite his imposing appearance, he remains composed and has not lost control yet. Gonryōmaru describes him as shy like his Shinigami wielder, which explains why he rarely speaks. So far, Tenken has only uttered the word "Bankai" in a deep voice that reverberated.
