Laxus Dreyar is a 23-year-old S-Class mage of Fairy Tail guild who specializes in Lightning magic. He's the grandson of Makarov Dreyar, the master of Fairy Tails, and son of Ivan Dreyar. Laxus can generate lightning from his body and control it to strike opponents with surprise attacks. By generating electricity on different parts of his body, he makes his melee attacks deadlier and propels himself around for extra momentum. The bright light from his lightning can temporarily blind enemies. Additionally, Lightning Magic allows him to turn his own body into lightning to evade enemy attacks, move at high speed, and strike every opponent crossing his path. He has a unique dragonslayer magic due to the implantation of Lightning Dragons Lacrima into his body by Ivan Dreyar when he was young. This also allows him to transform his skin into dragon scales and use exclusive dragonslayer attacks like lightning dragons roar. His eye color is orange/dark yellow in the manga, while it's greenish blue in the anime.
