Norton was once human but became a cyborg during the conflict between East and West prior to the rebellion by the MMEs. He led cyberoid combat teams that survived the uprising and is now fighting with great determination as part of the resistance. Norton has extensive knowledge about tactics, heavy weapons, and the MMEs. His skills are highly valuable to his unit. Norton saves Sandy and her companions on numerous occasions and tragically meets his end while protecting them during their infiltration of the MMEs' citadel in the final chapter of the story.
