Kōshi is a seventeen-year-old high school student who is handsome, intelligent but physically weak. His father, Unken Inuzuka, is a martial arts master from one of Japan's twelve Zodiac Master families and the family is associated with the dog of the Chinese zodiac. Despite his father's wishes, Kōshi has no interest in martial arts due to being bullied at a young age which made him freeze every time he saw violence. Instead, he wants to become a prosecutor so that he can effectively punish crimes. He frequently reads books on laws and codes governing Japan. Kōshi believes that martial arts do not have any realistically applicable power and the rule of law is more effective in fighting enemies. However, his father has arranged an arranged marriage for him with Momoko, which causes him to constantly fight off her love advances.
