In Ozma of Oz, a character named Tik-Tok plays an important role as he was once close friends with the Prince of Ev. He first meets Dorothy when she encounters the Wheelers in the Land of Ev. Later on, Tik-Tok joins Dorothy and her companions on their quest to locate the Prince of Ev in the Nome Kings kingdom.
