Yoshikos father is the Vice Principal of Holy Forest Academy. He is known for being very strict and following school rules without question, placing them above all else. Despite his rigidity, he does not have much patience. Hiroshi often becomes enraged by Onizukas behavior, showing little respect towards delinquents or rebels in general during the series. He believes that Onizuka is the root cause of all his misfortunes and was initially against his hiring, but ultimately had to accept Principal Sakurais decision. Uchiyamada frequently argues with Onizuka about his behavior.
