Thoth is an Egyptian god known for his wisdom and creation. He's responsible for awakening the world and exerts a lot of pressure on his students. Thoth loves corn so much that he eats it every day for three meals, spends most of his time in the library, and has the ability to speed read and consume vast amounts of information from books. As a leader and tutor at school, Thoth is proud and confident but does not take consultations if he's not in the mood. Since he knows everything in the universe, he cannot be debated with. Thoth is interested in humanity and quizzes Yui about the meaning of these questions. He can be strict, intimidating, and short-tempered at times. In his deity form, Thoth wears Ancient Egyptian garb and bird wings on his back since he's traditionally an Ibis-headed god. His snake motif necklace serves as a limiter for him. He is the only one who can understand Anubis Maat. Thoth is very picky with his food, usually eating corn but will also eat red bean soup if available. In the drama cd, he's seen enjoying popcorn too. His surname, Caduceus, comes from the symbol of his staff.
