Miyako Toudaiji  

Miyako is Maron's classmate who lives across from her. She comes from detective parents and is always trying to catch Jeanne. Her reason for doing so is to prove Maron's innocence, as people in their class had said that Maron resembled and sounded like Jeanne half a month before the series began. In the anime, Miyako does not realize that Maron is actually Jeanne and uses dangerous tricks and plots to catch her. This causes a lot of trouble for Jeanne and her mission. However, in the manga, Miyako knows from the beginning that Maron is Jeanne, and she gives up on Chiaki since he is more interested in Maron. She is stubborn like Maron and gets angry every time Jeanne escapes. Near the end of the series, Yamato tells her about his feelings for her, but she gets mad, thinking he's playing a sick joke, and ignores him. In the manga, Miyako marries Yamato Minazuki and has a son named Shinji (the reborn form of Access).
