Yotaro  

Yotaro is a young and frail boy who cannot leave his bed due to his mother's efforts. He is sickly and tired easily, spending all day in bed without doing any activities. Despite this, Yotaro has a wish - to have a panda of his own. One day, his wish comes true when his mother finds a wandering Genma (in panda form) and brings him home. At first, Genma is hesitant but stays in panda form due to the comfortable lifestyle he enjoys at home. This upsets Ranma, who enters the house in female form and is disgusted by Yotaro's laziness. Ranma tries to take Genma back by force, but resorts to subtler means when she realizes that Yotaro is not sickly, but rather very lazy and unwilling to go outside. It is only when Ranma kidnaps Genma-panda from the house that Yotaro finally goes outside, chasing Ranma all day back to the Tendo dojo. Despite appearing sickly, it is later realized that Yotaro's condition is a ruse for his laziness and reluctance to leave his home. However, he is an energetic boy who does not want to give up what he has easily.
