Rou Kaioshin  

Elder Kai, Honorable Ancestor, 老界王神

Rou Kaioushin is an individual who emerged from the Z sword and was trapped to the ground due to an ancient foe, whom he described as an incredibly powerful evil figure. He resembles the East Kaioushin but has an older face with a mustache. Gohan releases him during the Majin Buu Saga while attempting to cut a block made of the strongest material in existence. After being liberated, Rou Kaioushin agrees to assist Gohan in unlocking his full potential so he can defeat Majin Buu, on the condition that he is allowed to date an Earth woman. Centuries ago, he was quite attractive according to his own standards, but a witch stole one of his Potara Fusion Earrings and fused it with him permanently. As a result, he gained more magical power but lost his appearance. In the Majin Buu Saga, Rou Kaioushin sacrifices his life so Goku can survive, leaving behind only a halo over his head. During the Baby Saga of Dragon Ball GT, he assists Goku in becoming stronger by helping him regrow his tail through a painful process involving giant pliers.
