The leader of the Desert Apostles, often referred to as Professor Sabaaku (SAバーク博士), is named Sabaaku-hakase. This character has a desire to eliminate the newest generation of Pretty Cure in order to achieve his goal of destroying the Tree of Hearts. Typically, he is seen sitting on a high chair within the Desert Apostles base with his right-hand Dark Pretty Cure by his side. Sabaaku-hakase always wears a mask and has not been fully portrayed in terms of personality.
