Elmer is one of the immortal beings known as the Advena Avis. Born into a cult that saw his purpose as being abused, he eventually moved to Lotto Valentino where he attended the same alchemy school as Huey and Monica. Despite being described by Huey as "pure evil," Elmer's ultimate goal is to make everyone in the world happy. He doesn't care what methods he uses to achieve this, which has led him to be seen as a test subject by many. However, Huey considers him his only friend and does not view him as such. When Maiza and Czes search for the remaining Advena Avis immortals, they find Elmer in a secluded European village. He later joins them on board the Exit after receiving an invitation from someone claiming to be Huey.
