A track team sprinter who works diligently and receives an athletic scholarship. Despite being a skilled sprinter, he does not match Yamato's speed in the 100 meters. He dislikes Yamato because he outperforms him in track and Honoka, whom he likes, initially paid more attention to Yamato than to him. Like Yamato, he was scouted by universities during his senior year of high school. When Yamato and Suzuka announced that they had dropped out of Seijo University, the only member who felt upset about their decision was this sprinter. There is also a popular joke among friends that in every photo he appears in, he is either cut off or barely visible. Arima and Kenji represent Japan in the 100m and 200m events at an international competition.
