Korobi  

Korobi is a ninja from Sunagakure who serves under Gaara, along with Yaoki. He and Gaara were assigned on a joint mission with Team 7 to stop a group of bandits located between Suna and Konoha. However, during the mission, Korobi displayed cowardly behavior due to Gaara's killing instincts, which were later curbed after Sunas invasion. When Gaara was caught in a trap set by Sunas assassination squad, he instructed Korobi and Yaoki to flee. Naruto encounters them and learns that Gaara has been captured. He asks why they abandoned their friend, prompting Korobi and Yaoki to question whether Gaara is indeed their friend. Despite this, they assist Naruto in rescuing Gaara. After the mission's completion, Gaara queries Korobi and Yaoki about what they said to him, and they happily respond that he is their friend.
