Meet kaito, a high school freshman with an intense passion for solving puzzles. his parents were killed while attempting to solve a deadly puzzle, leaving him deeply affected and always on guard against using puzzles for harm. despite his limited interests outside of puzzle-solving, kaito is incredibly skilled and holds the title "einstein." one day, he discovers an orpheus bangle that attaches itself to his arm. under high levels of stress, kaito enters a unique state that allows him to use his brain to its fullest potential and see the solution for any puzzle. however, this newfound ability comes with its own challenges as kaito struggles to balance his desire to help others with his need to protect himself from being used for malicious purposes. kaito cares deeply about his friend nonoha, going to great lengths to ensure her safety. despite their differences in taste and cooking skills, kaito respects nonoha's abilities and values her friendship highly. however, he is also outspoken about his dislike for nonohas cooking, calling it "weapons of mass destruction" which leads to physical punishment from nonoha. overall, kaito is a complex character with a deep sense of responsibility and loyalty, as well as a unique set of abilities that make him both valuable and vulnerable in the face of danger.
