He has a childhood friend named Mimei who harbors romantic feelings towards him, but he seems unaware of it. Despite his recklessness sometimes putting him at odds with other crew members, he remains committed to helping anyone in need. It was later discovered that his motivation for joining the Bardanos team stemmed from a desire to locate his brother, who is also part of the ship's crew.
