The animated movie Digital Monster X-Evolution portrays a world where Yggdrasil cultivated and populated the original Digital World with Digimon. However, due to the rapid multiplication of these creatures, the computer became overwhelmed, leading to an event known as "Digital Hazard." This caused the collapse of the old Digital World. In response, Project Ark was initiated by Yggdrasil, which involved selecting a small number of surviving Digimon and transplanting them into a new Digital World that it had created. However, in this new world, some Digimon who survived through the mysterious "X-Antibody" have disrupted Yggdrasil's plans. In Digimon Savers, Yggdrasil is depicted as the God of the Digital World and has control over the Royal Knights.
