Petas early background is largely unknown. at some point, he befriended phantom, a kaldean outlaw who later became the strongest knight. this happened before phantom received the zombie tattoo. shortly after witnessing the breakup of phantom and his lover, alma, peta received phantoms zombie tattoo, wishing to walk the path of destruction together for all eternity. after the formation of the chess piece army, peta quickly gained knighthood and became the strategic officer. although he did not fight in the previous war games, he chose instead to broadcast the battles throughout mär-heaven.
