In Sakura Wars The Movie, we first meet Leni, a highly skilled knife thrower who was formerly Captain Orihime's team leader in the European Hoshigumi. She returns as a supporting character in Sakura Wars So Long, My Love. At the beginning of the story, she is the captain of the New York Hoshigumi but is struggling with her declining spiritual power. After naming Shinjiro as acting leader, she takes on the role of vice-commander under Sunnyside, helping to coordinate missions alongside others. Despite being a no-nonsense woman, Leni exudes maturity and remains calm in most situations.
