Raul is second in command among Tanaguras elite, after Iason. He specializes in biochemistry and may be responsible for modifying memories and minds of those who disobey Jupiter. Despite appearing to have a friendly relationship with Iason and expressing genuine concern for him, Raul adheres to the rules of Tanagura. Although he encourages Iason to follow these same guidelines, he does not compel him to do so nor reports any wrongdoing on his part.
