He's an aspiring musician who's extremely passionate and eager about becoming famous like Shisengumi. However, his pursuit of fame often lands him in awkward situations that make him unpopular among people. He refers to himself using "Washi," a term typically used by older Japanese individuals. Along with Yataro, he works and lives at Di Telada, a local pizzeria owned by Alberco, who tolerates his clumsiness despite being an okama crossdresser. Shoin entrusted him with his electric guitar because of his passion and "Peace Soul." In a confrontation with Cindy and Sensei, he was asked about how he got hold of Shoin's guitar, which led to the formation of their rock band after encountering the 8th unit of Shinsengumi. He is the lead vocalist and guitarist in this new band.
