In the story, there lived a man named Sukeroku who lived 500 years before its start. He greatly admired a woman named Yukiji. Unfortunately, after she was separated from her intended destination's convoy, Sukeroku encountered Yatori, who killed all those in the convoy and consumed Sukeroku as well.
