Cure Beat, Siren, 黒川 エレン

Siren is a female character who resembles a cat and is known as the "Fairy of Songs." She was born in Major Land and has been friends with Hummy since childhood. However, she became jealous when her title as the annual singer of the "Melody of Happiness" was given to Hummy instead, leading her to ask to be Mephistos' right-hand. As Siren, she possesses powerful abilities and can create Negatones using her dark powers. She also has the ability to transform into any person she desires through the use of her necklace. In her human form, known as Ellen, she is a strong fighter who can materialize notes to use as projectiles. During Episode 21, Siren's potential for Pretty Cure was awakened when she wanted to protect Hummy, who had been captured by the Minor Trio. This caused her necklace to shatter, trapping her in human form and causing her to lose her power of transformation. She is currently being sheltered with the Shirabes and attending school with Hibiki and Kanade. As Cure Beat, Siren's hair turns bright purple and gains a side ponytail. Her theme color is blue, and her Fairy Tone is Lary. Her main weapon is the Love Guitar Rod, which uses the Fairy Tone of Sory. Siren is unique to the Pretty Cure franchise as she was once a mascot and antagonist who later became a member of the team. She introduces herself with the phrase "Playing the soulful tune, Cure Beat!" (爪弾くは魂の調べ！ キュアビート！).
