Boone was a Zeon captain stationed near the Federation's Belfast base in Ireland. When White Base arrived at the base, he seized the opportunity to launch multiple attacks on it. During the second attack, he had Miharu Ratokie, his spy, aboard the White Base so that she could provide him with information about its location. Boone followed the White Base across the Atlantic Ocean and successfully infiltrated it using a stolen civilian plane. Through Miharu, he learned that the White Base was heading to South America. With this knowledge, Boone reported to Char and obtained permission to pilot the MAM-07 Grublo mobile armor to avenge his fallen men and attack White Base. In the ensuing battle underwater, the Grublo initially had an advantage but was eventually defeated when the Gundam attacked its cockpit with a beam saber, killing Boone.
