Wendy accompanies Van on his first journey and helps him locate her kidnapped sibling who was taken by the Claw Man. She possesses qualities of kindness, empathy, and resolve and frequently seeks to aid those in need that she encounters during their travels. Unlike Van's policy, which involves leaving others to fend for themselves, Wendy is inclined to assist people. On her neck hangs a pink tortoise as a lucky charm, bestowed upon her by her brother before she embarked on this adventure.
