Yukino is an eleven-year-old girl who lives on an island. Despite her young age, she's sensitive about it. She enjoys spending time with animals and often rides a giant bear named Kuma Kuma. Her love for nature started when she was too young to help with farming tasks, so she would play with the forest creatures instead. Although she appears to be tired from riding everywhere, Yukino is actually quite athletic and can race alongside her animal companions in the anime. She often refers to herself in the third person.
