Chisato, who belongs to the childrens class and has a close childhood bond with masaru tōno, is an a level 2 telepath. she's curious about whether he will still accept her after discovering that she possesses psychic abilities. to find out, she reads his thoughts. upon doing so, she realizes that he sees her as the person she truly is, not just for her powers. however, chisato mistakenly believes that tōno holds all espers responsible for his aversion towards them and his conflict with kaoru.
