Gihren Zabi, Cicero Zabi, Kycilia Zabi, Dozle Zabi, Garma Zabi (children) Mineva Lao Zabi (granddaughter) Degwin was Zeon's chief of staff and claimed that on his deathbed, he declared Degwin as his successor. Although there is no concrete evidence to support this claim, it is widely believed that Degwin's sudden death coincided with the demise of Zeon Deikun. Degwin initiated a purge of loyalists to Deikun and established Side 3 colony as the Principality of Zeon, appointing himself as Archduke. He then declared war on Earth Federation and positioned his children in high-ranking positions within the new government.
