Wolfgang Woerns  

The German officer Woerns is the leader of Watchers Nest and is rarely seen without a serious expression on his face. Despite limited success in controlling the Ghoul, he remains responsible for holding out as long as possible. At age 50, there are rumors that he may be considering replacing himself with Ertiana, despite disciplining her when she struggled to control Misaki's nervous breakdown.
