Kaede Kurenai is Shou Yanagis partner, who possesses strong psychic abilities. Her dowsing skills are valuable in her role as a Head Diver. She has a history with Mugito Mamon and the Superhuman Federation. Prior to the final battle, she marries Shou but later contracts Algernon and ends their lives. Despite this tragedy, their unborn child survives and is saved by one of the D-Type Hunters. Kaede's voice is provided by Yuko Minaguchi.
