Emperor Beld had placed faith in Wagnard, the potent wizard of dark magic; however, was this trust misplaced? Despite how others perceive him, Wagnard serves only one true master - the Goddess of Destruction, Kardis. He knows what is required to resurrect Kardis and seize control over Lodoss forever. To achieve this, he must first obtain the Scepter of Domination from the dragon Shooting Star. For this purpose, Wagnard persuaded Ashram to retrieve it for his own glory. Next, he must sacrifice a High Elf, and he dispatched Pirotess, a Dark Elf, to find the most suitable High Elf for the task. Eventually, Wagnards allies retrieved the Scepter of Domination from Ashram, who had stolen it from Shooting Star. With the Scepter in hand, Wagnard intends to command Kardis and ascend to godhood himself. To accomplish this, he seeks Deedlit, the key to Kardis full resurrection.
