The princess in question lost her family during the Holy War and became possessed by a demon, resulting in her living in an ice castle for 300 years. In the manga version of the story, she captures Yasha to gain power, ultimately being killed by Kujaku. On the other hand, in the anime adaptation, the princess was lonely and sought companionship, leading her to capture Yasha. However, Ashura ends up killing her, freeing her from her suffering.
