A young woman named Cathy works as a knife thrower and acrobat in a traveling circus at age four when her family's wagon is caught in crossfire, killing her parents and separating her from her two-year-old brother Triton. She is later adopted by the members of her parents' circus and grows up with them. When Gundam pilot Trowa Barton requests to join, Cathy convinces the manager to allow him. She develops a big sister attitude towards Trowa despite learning that he is Heavyarms pilot. Additionally, she takes care of Trowa's friends, including feeding Wufei when he stays with the circus after the failed Treize assassination and caring for Heero following his self-destruct.
