Ruby's classmate from the Plum Section and supporter is Hinata, who comes from the Human World to study at Sunshine Academy. Although she struggles with understanding some situations, she is the only one who can comprehend Ruby well. She is shy and timid, but very supportive of her classmates, especially Ruby, whom she considers more rational than the others. Before moving to Peridot in the same dormitory, Hinata was Ruby's roommate and helped her become active in sports despite being initially timid. Her favorite items were T-shirts.
