Yū is known as "iinchō" by most of his classmates due to his role as their representative. he possesses alice's illusion ability, which was a huge success during the haunted house attraction at the latent ability class during the alice festival. as mentioned by mikan, natsume, and ruka, yū is someone to be taken seriously. despite having a lot of responsibilities, including taking care of mikan, he seems unfazed by it all. the author has stated that yū fell in love with mikan at first sight.
