James Barrie was a young boy who lived on Never Island with Wendy and other children. Unlike them, his experiments did not turn him into a vampire, resulting in him becoming an unsuccessful experiment. Initially hostile towards adults, he later met Father Leon and decided to become a man. His motivation came from protecting Wendy due to his deep affection for her.
