Hinari, 鳳統 士元/雛里 (ひなり)

In the sequel to Visual Novel "Shin Koihime Musō," a new character named Houtou is introduced. She is Shuri's closest friend and often accompanies her. Her appearance resembles that of a witch, and she shares with Shuri the hobby of reading perverted books. In the anime version of the series, Houtou was first seen in episode 10 as one of Shibaki's students. Initially, she felt jealous of the relationship between Shuri and her mother figure, but after a conversation to clear up any misunderstandings, Houtou revealed that she had never truly disliked Shuri. Since then, they have become friends and frequently correspond with each other. In the anime version, Shuri introduced Houtou to her love for perverted books, which is different from their shared hobby in the visual novel.
