Tanpopo, 馬岱/蒲公英 (たんぽぽ)

The character of Bachō's cousin in the visual novel version of Shin Koihime Musō is named Batai. Despite being younger than Bachō, she has no issues around men and often teases him about his relationships. In fact, she once brought Bachō to meet Kazuto while he was bathing in a river, causing Bachō to become uncomfortable. Additionally, Batai is attracted to Kazuto and aggressively pursues him, even going as far as leading him into the forest and assaulting him. On the other hand, Batai first appears in the anime version of Shin Koihime Musō during the 11th episode, where she trains under her cousin Bachō and befriends Riri at Touka village. However, due to Bachō's harsh training methods, Batai seeks revenge by tricking her into drinking a giant gourd of water and denying her access to the bathroom after sunset, brandishing her as a bed wetter. In Otome Tairan, Batai goes on an adventure with Chouhi and Ryuubi before meeting Gien, whom she develops a rivalry with.
