A member of an American En-Jutsushi family is skilled in creating and controlling spirit beasts. She combines multiple spirits into a single virtual persona for immense power. Although capable of creating various spirit beasts, her favorite is Metatron, an angel-like statue with a sword. Kazuma has noted that her fighting style resembles Ayanos' simplistic and direct attacks, lacking strategy or tactics. Katherine competes against Ayano in both En-Jutsushi and Kazumas "love." In their first battle, Katherine's expectations were not met, prompting her to hire Kazuma for training in advanced moves. As she became attracted to him, she realized that if she could offer more than the Kannagi family, he might return with her to America. Thus, she frequently tempts Kazuma with lucrative offers.
