Dashan was the head of the Chinese team in the Beyblade World Championships known as Team Wang Hu Zhong. He is described as being strong, composed, and having an intense spirit when he battles with his beyblade, Rock Zurafa R145WB. Although he hails from China, Dashan is known for being mystical, swift, and highly determined. His greatest priority isn't just winning battles but also caring for his friends, teammates, and followers at Beylin Temple. Despite their loss to Team Gan Gan Galaxy in the championships, Dashan and his team were content with having had the opportunity to compete. This experience strengthened his bond with a major friend and ally, Gingka Hagane.
