Pai Ren, 公孫賛 伯珪/白蓮 (ぱいれん)

In anime, we have a small lordess who wishes to safeguard her people from an escalating banditry issue. She is fond of white horses and is revealed to be childhood friends with Ryūbi Gentoku in Shin Koihime Musō. Despite accidentally obtaining his stolen sword through bartering food and support for her people, she deeply regrets it. Alongside Ryūbi, she tries to retrieve the sword from Enshō but learns that he no longer possesses it. Nevertheless, Enshō compensates her debt as a gesture of goodwill. In visual novel version, we encounter a feudal lord who initially serves under the En faction before shifting allegiance to Shu. She plays a more significant role in Shin Koihime Musō and contributes greatly to the story's progression.
