Setsu  

In episode 14, "Inside the Cage," we meet Setsu, who was born as a bamboo shoot but grew into a normal human. Despite being able to live on water from white bamboo mushi, she is known as an oni-ko, the offspring of a human and a mushi. Essentially, Setsu is like any other person except that she requires the mataradake, a type of white bamboo mushi, to survive. Her parents are the mataradake and a human mother.
