Ryou Washizu, commonly known as "Wassan" by his friend Keita Torigaya, is a second-year high school student at Yokko High School. He belongs to class 2-B along with Ibuki Ikaruga and Yoichi Karasuma. In the past, Ryou was a boxer and has a reputation among his peers for being tough and delinquent. Despite this, he harbors a secret crush on Ibuki and mistakenly believes that her relationship with Yoichi is romantic. As a result, he frequently challenges Yoichi to fights in an attempt to win Ibuki's affection.
