Kirino, a close friend of Shindou's, was shown as caring and concerned when he visited him at the hospital after Shindou passed out from exhaustion during their match against Tsurugi Kyousuke. He was part of the Raimon team that assisted Shindou Takuto in leading his own team to aid those who were attacked by Tsurugi's group.
