In the world of Duel Monsters, Princess Rose was chosen by Sartorius to battle Jaden on his behalf. She's a fan of "The Frog Prince" fairy tale and claims she can see spirits of Duel Monster creatures, which manifest as three princes named Jeffrey, Roosevelt, and Percival in the English dub. While others doubt her abilities, Jaden notices the spirit of a frog prince watching over her after their duel. In the original version, Princess Rose speaks with sophistication and politeness, fitting her royal status. However, in the English dub, she adopts a Valley Girl accent, using terms such as "diva," "whatever," and "not!" Despite this, Princess Rose plays a Frog Deck and utilizes her trump card "Des Frog" to quickly summon three copies of the former. With her powerful assault team in play, she neutralizes threats and constantly strengthens her monsters with other cards.
